Why the Classical Elements?
"To the elements it came from
Everything will return.
Our bodies to earth,
Our blood to water,
Heat to fire,

Empedocles proposed four classical elements—water, earth, air, and fire. Laying the foundation for atomism, Empedocles’ work provided the basis of modern science's understanding of elements. Despite this level of comprehension, we have still to answer the quandaries that plagued cosmogony since the protoscientific era. Which leads me to question, have we really progressed? In an attempt to return back to the basics, I have chosen to categorize my works into the above four elements.
